Bombing plot near location of reporters intending to visit Camp Ashraf
Propaganda by ruling mullahs in Iran aims to cover up regime role in Baghdad blasts. As the Iranian people’s uprising rings the death knell of the religious fascism ruling Iran, the clerical regime has intensified pressures on the Iraqi government to forcibly displace residents of Camp Ashraf.

After a year of media ban on Ashraf, an Iraqi government spokesperson last week invited reporters to visit Ashraf on December 15 during a media tour orchestrated by the government in order to produce reports and video footage of measures being enacted by the committee responsible for closing Ashraf and displacing its residents.

al-Maliki calls for displacement of Camp Ashraf residents; unlawful, kowtowing to Iran
NCRI denounced remarks by Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, concerning “Transfer of Camp Ashraf residents to Nuqrat al-Salman” which was described by him as a “step towards expelling them (from Iraq),” as unlawful and disgraceful kowtowing to orders of the religious fascism ruling Iran in the midst of nationwide uprising in Iran. The Iranian regime has set the suppression of Ashraf residents in Iraq as a precondition to its support for al-Maliki in the upcoming parliamentary elections in Iraq.

Iraq to move Iranian exiles to remote south - PM
Reuters (Excerpts) - Iraq plans to uproot an Iranian exile group that has become a headache for the Baghdad government and move the activists to a remote southern area until it can expel them, the prime minister said this week. Their clamour for greater rights within Iraq and aggressive international outreach has been an irritant for a government seeking to nurture its fragile relationship with Tehran.

Maliki did not say when officials would try to move the exiles from Camp Ashraf to the southern province of Muthanna.

On 3 December 2009 in solidarity with the nationwide uprising of the Iranian people and the December 7 Student Day and Ashraf residents, a rally took place in front of the Foreign Office in which Iranians in exile asked for intervention of the international community to end the criminal siege of Ashraf City.
